Oktavía Hrund Guðrúnar

The founder and principal of the think tank collective future404, Oktavía, is a curator of culture, technology, policy and holistic security with two decades of experience designing, building, co-creating and promoting cultures and spaces where inclusive and multistakeholder-based approaches inform for whom we design, how we build, at what level we co-create and where we build consensus with results.
Oktavía has provided strategy, business development and leadership to diverse, global, remote teams, in both nonprofit, corporate and social impact driven for-profit contexts. Oktavía comes to any advisory task and challenge with a demonstrated track record of success in strategic visioning and designing, implementing, and evaluating high-impact in growth and diversification plans for organisations, large and small as well as human rights and tech programming.
Oktavía currently serves as a member of the United Nations Multi-stakeholder Advisory Group of the Internet Governance Forum and has sat on the Boards of The Icelandic Social housing Association, VERTOnet – Association of women and nonbinaries in IT as well as the Technical Advisory Board of the Freedom of the Press Foundation.
